With around 25 years of experience in constitutional and legal practice, Mr. Sheikh Muhammad Ali brings a distinguished perspective on the role of law, constitutionalism and institutions in shaping the Pakistani state and society.

The Constitution of Pakistan is more than a legal document. It provides a common constitutional framework through which citizens, institutions and the State are connected by shared principles, rights, responsibilities and governance structures.
In his session, Mr. Sheikh Muhammad Ali will examine how constitutional values, the rule of law, fundamental rights and institutional responsibility contribute to a shared national identity โ and how understanding the Constitution can help young Pakistanis better understand their relationship with the State and with one another.
An accomplished practitioner of constitutional, regulatory and commercial law, as well as arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution, he has also served two consecutive terms as Chairman of the ADR Committee of the Lahore High Court Bar Association and remains actively engaged in legal education as a law teacher, moot examiner and judge.
His contribution to โPakistan: Our Shared Storyโ will offer young participants an opportunity to look beyond political narratives and explore the constitutional foundations that hold a diverse Pakistan together.
