A proud milestone for the Youth Advocacy Forum (YAF) under Pakistan Youth Parliament, as its delegation visited the Punjab Assembly for an enriching day of policy learning, institutional engagement, and youth advocacy.
The visit provided YAF members with an opportunity to gain firsthand insight into policy development and parliamentary affairs through detailed briefings and meaningful discussions with representatives from Parliamentary Affairs and the Parliamentary Development Unit. The delegation also toured the Assembly Hall, gaining a closer understanding of the environment in which provincial legislative proceedings take place.
The engagement served as a valuable platform for young advocates to connect theoretical knowledge with practical institutional experience, strengthening their understanding of governance, policymaking, parliamentary processes, and effective youth advocacy.
Special appreciation goes to President Akif Rasool, Vice President Nauman Majeed Khan, Joint Secretary Hadeed Ali, General Secretary Ch. Burhan Namdar, and the entire YAF Cabinet for their dedication and efforts in making this milestone possible.
The Forum also expressed gratitude to Muhammad Abubakar, President – Pakistan Youth Parliament, for joining the delegation and encouraging YAF’s continued efforts toward developing informed, engaged, and future-oriented young policymakers.
The visit reflects the Youth Advocacy Forum’s commitment to learning, leadership, policy awareness, and meaningful youth participation in institutional and civic affairs.
