The delegation of the Pakistan Youth Parliament had an enriching and insightful visit to the Parliament of Pakistan, gaining a firsthand understanding of the country’s parliamentary institutions and democratic processes.
During the visit, members explored the National Assembly floor, learned about legislative procedures, and gained valuable insights into the functioning of Parliament and the journey of lawmaking. The experience offered our young leaders a closer look at the responsibilities, practices, and principles that shape parliamentary democracy.
The delegation also participated in an engaging and informative session with Mr. Muhammad Mushtaq, Secretary Legislation & Advisor, National Assembly, who shared his expertise on lawmaking, parliamentary committees, legislative functions, and the vital role of Parliament in strengthening democracy.
